Recent Poll

Sun Jun 28, 2009, 9:57 PM
My recent poll is because today, one of my friends and I had a discussion about Marijuana. I have and do smoke it, I have for about 4 years. What people don't know about me is that I was born 6 weeks premature. I was born in march and spent my first Christmas in the Hospital with a croup infection I was born with. That's the first 9 months of my life. i bring this up because my immune system was pretty much offline for the majority of my life. Long Hospital stays and extremely pron to croup, strep throat and tonsillitis. I also have asthma. For the past 4 years, I have not once been put in the hospital, my last stay was when I had tonsillitis, strep throat and Mono at the same time.

My friend has never touched pot and i asked them if they would like to try it someday. they gave me a shpel where you'd expect a Conservative Politician would give on the horrors of it and how it is the "gateway" drug, and it being illegal and whatnot. That is where I differ on the subject.

What I don't understand is why doesn't the government Legalize it and tax the hell out of it. Harvest the Hemp for Clothing. Hemp fibers can be woven stronger than steel, Use that and the national dept will be $0 by 2015.

Please Give me your opinions.
